Start-Up Inspection Before Operation

Operators must conduct checks to heating systems, conveyor belts, fans and control panels before operating the veneer drying machine. If all parts are well-maintained, the chances that a component must be changed or repaired while production is running are significantly reduced.

Correct Setting of Drying Parameters

The temperature, conveyor speed and airflow in the machine should be adjusted depending on floor type (veneer): Poplar, eucalyptus, and hardwood veneers have different drying curves in order to keep the stable moisture content.

Continuous Monitoring During Production

The operator must monitor veneer color, flexibility, and moisture output while operating. For any signs of overdrying, curling or uneven drying, machine settings should be modified on an urgent basis.

Preventing Common Drying Defects

High temperatures or non-uniform airflow during curing often lead to defects like cracking, warping, or brittleness of the surface. Having the right heat and speed helps to achieve a constant quality of veneer.

Routine Cleaning and Dust Removal

Dust collections systems and ventilation channel should also be cleaned on a daily basis. Dust accumulation can lower the efficiency of heat transfer and hinder stable air circulation which will result in uneven drying effect.

Mechanical Inspection and Lubrication

Operators need to frequently check bearings, rollers, and chains. The purpose of real lubrication is to prevent wear and allow a smooth movement of belts in the conveyor, which is primary for production lines that cannot be interrupted.

Energy Efficiency Control

This includes optimizing some temperature settings and minimizing any unnecessary heat loss during normal running. The stable drying conditions not only enhance quality but also save energy in large scale plywood factories.

End-of-Day Shutdown Procedure

Machine should burn down cleaning and sanitation after production. It helps prevent residue from building up and prolongs wear on equipment, providing a stable performance for the next operator.
