Panel Loading and Positioning
Once the selected layers of veneer are assembled and roughly pressed together, they are then loaded into a hot press machine. All layers are stacked such that they are aligned directly to each other, thus providing even weight and preventing shuffling.

Additionally, contemporary hot press machines utilize PLC control systems to precisely control pressing time, temperature, and pressure. Controlling is a key element to prevent under-pressing (weaken bonding) or over-pressing (material damage).
Cooling and Panel Release
Following pressing the pressure has to be released whereupon the plywood panels are extricated. The boards are naturally cooled before completeing trimming, sanding and final finish.
