Pre-Pressing and Panel Stabilization Function

When hot pressing, the plywood cold press machine pre presses stacked veneer layers. This stabilizes the panel structure and improves flatness by reducing shifting during handling/transfer.

Improves Glue Distribution and Contact

Cold pressing allows veneers to contact more of the surface in glue. This helps to create a better initial bond strength and helps ensure a more uniform press or close before entering the hot press.

It will reduce your air gaps and get better flatness.

The machine taps the layers together under moderate pressure at room temperature and also brings trapped air to escape in between them. This then results in characteristic rejection phenomena such as bubbles, uneven thickness, and internal voids in the final plywood.

Supports High-Efficiency Production Flow

Cold press machines prepare several panels beforehand, which expedites production. This helps to decrease the volume and timeline of hot press machine, ultimately optimizing factory output.

Applications in Different Plywood Grades

These are mainly used in a variety of applications such as furniture grade plywood, construction plywood, laminated board manufacturing etc. Maintenance is a vital part for every factory that would want a stable quality product and fool-proof against the international standards.
