It must first be dried to a stable moisture content after obtaining fresh veneer. For a beginner, it's best to go for ones that get standardized drying results like roller or mesh belt veneer dryer, this helps avoid defects such as warping and cracking.
Step 05: Include Sorting and Storage Area
Veneer sheets are then sorted according to quality and dried. Plywood will not reabsorb water when stored properly and the stability of production for the next step in plywood manufacturing is therefore maintained.
