Step 01: Production Capacity and Type of Goods
Before orienting the line, determine your desired result (m³/day) along with veneer consumption. The size, level of automation and investment cost of your equipment will depend on whether you are manufacturing plywood-grade veneer or furniture-grade veneer.
Step 02: Prepare Area For RAW MATERIAL HANDLING
It includes a veneer line starting from log storage to debarking and section cutting. The design implements an effective raw material handling system which enhances feeding speed and minimizes wastage during the peeling stage and is key for beginners to control cost.
Step 03: Veneer Peeling Machine System Installation
The main attaching equipment is veneer peeling machine. It turns logs into thin sheets of a controlled thickness. For novices, it is better to adopt a steady model, simple operation hand design convenient feed, cutting should also have limited precision.
Step 04: Preparing Veneer Drying System
It must first be dried to a stable moisture content after obtaining fresh veneer. For a beginner, it's best to go for ones that get standardized drying results like roller or mesh belt veneer dryer, this helps avoid defects such as warping and cracking.
Step 05: Include Sorting and Storage Area
Veneer sheets are then sorted according to quality and dried. Plywood will not reabsorb water when stored properly and the stability of production for the next step in plywood manufacturing is therefore maintained.
Optional Expansion: Glue and Plywood Production Line Connection
Some beginners begin with veneer making before proceeding to bigger projects like ply wood production. After stabilization you could combine glue spreader, cold press and a hot press to make a factory line.
